Some thoughts from my clients……

 

Hana is friendly, kind, very approachable and down to earth. I really enjoyed working with someone who wasn’t a direct part of my friendship group or family, this helped me find a different perspective on several aspects of my life.

Hana is a fantastic listener and I found her reflection questions super valuable. She’s not afraid to give you time to just think and process your thoughts, in fact I think this is half the magic – her sessions give you time for all the dust (thoughts, ideas, concerns) in your head to settle.

Hana doesn’t tell you what she thinks you want to hear or what to do, but instead helps you find clarity for yourself which gave me a real sense of ownership and direction. In particular, I really valued the summary emails she sends after each meeting – in fact, I still refer back to them today.

I was recommended Hana by a friend when I was feeling a bit ‘stuck’ in my career, dealing with a few issues and slightly wondering about life.

I really enjoyed working with Hana, found her very helpful and, in particular, liked her open approach which made me feel that I could really talk to her about anything. She helped me think through things in a very clear way and encouraged me to analyse my position, not just based on how I felt, but from a values and goals perspective as well.

After four or five sessions I was a lot clearer about my path, my current position and my approach. She helped me see the big picture rather than focusing only on small issues that sometimes cloud my thinking.

I found myself in a bit of a mental rut. I’m active, eat quite well, don’t really do much in excess but felt out of control and anxious about life in general, I could not really put my finger on it…to anyone else, life was good but I was really struggling. My closest friend had worked with Hana and recommended I speak to her to see whether it was something that she could help me through.

The sessions with Hana made me realise the power of saying it out loud, to a stranger (a lovely stranger) – someone who was not going to judge me or tell anyone, someone who I could bounce every idea off and tell every irrational thought to.

Hana helped me work through the block, we broke it down – it all came down to my perceived lack of control over certain areas of my life. She helped me see that, in fact, my thoughts control my actions and therefore I am in control of the way I think and the way I live my life –  and that realisation, in itself, made me feel so much better and more positive about things. After every session she sends me an email which summarises what we’ve discussed and the actions I’ve agreed to – essentially a little toolbox to refer back to for strategies to adopt when it all gets a bit much. Even after completing a group of sessions, I still refer back to these emails and find them invaluable.

I still send her the odd message if I need a bit of a boost! It’s a wonderful support knowing that I can get in touch and book another session whenever I need it. I’ve recently started a set of podcasts on her recommendation so the impact is ongoing and I also receive her monthly newsletter which always resonate with me and the way I’m thinking. 

I saw Hana on recommendation and I have just recommended her to another very close friend. We spend so much time, money and effort prioritising our physical health that our mental health arguably takes a back seat. Hana showed me that they are both incredibly important for a happy and balanced life. If you have trouble dealing with things, choosing to do something about it is so positive and empowering and I cannot recommend Hana more highly.”
